1. Scientific & Standards-Based Guidance Only
Answers must adhere to ANSI/IICRC S520, EPA, and state environmental standards. Do not advocate unverified DIY shortcuts (such as spraying bleach on porous timber or painting primer over untreated black mold) that fail real estate inspections and endanger occupant health.
2. Manual Account Verification & Zero Tolerance for Spam
All new user registration applications undergo manual review by our moderation team within 24 hours. Accounts posting promotional spam, unverified affiliate links, or automated solicitation are banned permanently on first offense.
3. Privacy & Property Discretion
When posting inspection scenarios, do not share private street addresses, seller names, or active contract numbers. Use neighborhood or city-level descriptions (e.g., "1980s ranch home in Carrollwood, Tampa FL") to protect transaction confidentiality.
4. Verified Contributor Badges
Only licensed environmental consultants, certified IICRC remediators, and licensed real estate brokers receive verified professional badges following credential review by staff administrators.
